BPI Consumer VMB is one of the largest printers and converters of food packaging in the UK. Through the country’s biggest single site flexographic printing facility and a team of over 300 highly skilled staff, we specialise in providing solutions that help food producers to maximise their sales – irrespective of whether the products involved are potatoes, fresh produce, bakery goods or frozen foods.
In line with this, we have developed high performance films that give trouble free running on modern packaging lines and that then go on to deliver a level of protection that can extend your products’ shelf life. For those applications where the desired performance cannot be achieved with simple structures, BPI Consumer VMB can meet your needs with a comprehensive range of laminates using various combinations of webs including polyester. Plus, we continue to embrace the latest packaging developments, such as modified atmosphere and compostable packaging, to ensure our customers enjoy an edge over their competitors.
In addition, like all the divisions within the BPI group, BPI Consumer VMB regularly invests back into its operations to ensure they remain at the industry’s leading edge. Our impressive array of eight and six colour presses have recently been complemented by two, state-of-the-art, 10 colour presses. We have also just invested into a next generation laminator which offers a whole host of impressive capabilities including the ability to laminate without the use of solvents.
