bpi.europe is a leading provider of dynamic, polythene packaging solutions to customers across the continent. Through two manufacturing facilities in Belgium and one in the Netherlands, we supply a diverse range of products to an equally diverse range of markets.
This includes: high quality printed and plain films for the food industry; form, fill and seal (FFS) films and heavy-duty sacks (including valve bags and waviblok) for the chemical, construction and horticultural industries; insulation films; general industrial films; and pallet protection products such as stretchwrap and stretch hoods.
We are also particularly successful in the agricultural market where we supply technically advanced balewrapping films to farmers and agricultural contractors across the European mainland. To ensure this track record continues, we have a staunch commitment to new product development and our range has recently been expanded by SilotitePRO – an innovative downgauged balewrap that offers all the performance of our world leading Silotite balewrap but from a thinner film thickness.
The benefit of this is that less film by volume is used to wrap bales creating less waste when those bales are opened. Plus, as the film is thinner, users also get more film – and the ability to wrap more bales – with every reel. This reduces the number of machinery stoppages required for reel changes and increases efficiency.
Another new product is Baletite. This alternative to a netwrap is made from the same material as our balewrapping films meaning users do not have to separate the two items prior to recycling. Again this reduces demands on the farmer or agricultural contractor’s time and increases their efficiency.
A similar commitment to innovation pervades every other area of our business and we continue to invest into our operations to facilitate our ability to develop next generation solutions. Highlighting this, we have recently invested into new balewrap production lines, new facilities for the manufacturing of stretch hooding, new eight colour presses for use with our printed films and a new pre-stretch unit to enhance our pallet protection range.
