Fresh produce films

With 10 colour presses ensuring excellent retail presentation, our fresh produce packaging for potatoes, carrots and fruit has been specially developed for todays high speed fully automatic filling machines. We also offer micro-perforated materials, jet code printing, tray liners and flow wrap film.

Bakery Product Packaging

As a leading supplier to bakeries, BPI has a particular understanding of the needs of this high volume and diverse sector. Our products include wicketed bags or film on the reel (including microperforated and metallised) for use on fully automatic lines and to package everything from part baked baguettes to hot cross buns.

Frozen foods films

bpi supplies films and bags which excel under frozen storage or display conditions - and without compromising on aesthetics. In fact, to ensure maximum product presentation, this packaging can be printed in up to eight colours, whilst base materials can be tailored to specific applications

Modified atmosphere packaging

For manufacturers looking to extend product shelf life and reduce the environmental impact of food going to waste, BPI offers Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) complete with an anti-mist coating. A wide variety of base films are available which can be photo quality printed in up to eight colours

Collation shrink film

Shrink film remains a highly efficient, cost effective means of packaging multi-pack goods and of protecting almost all FMCGs as they move down the supply chain. BPI provides a comprehensive range of shrink films including plain and printed, easy opening and board replacement films – which offer paper board’s strength but without its bulk or weight.

bpi.films (converter) is a speciality film producer – focusing on one process only - plain film extrusion with each site approved to supply direct contact food grade packaging. Degradable & BioPolymer films

Ideal for customers with suitable applications, this range includes Degradable films which fragment under the influence of light and heat, Biodegradable films which decompose on contact with microbial activity and Compostable films which decompose with microbial activity within a specific time frame

Transit protection

Across the UK & Europe our unsurpassed range of high quality shrink films, machine stretch films, hand stretch films and top sheets provide excellent load stability and product protection during storage and transit. Our newly developed Wrap Smart provides an environmental and economic alternative to traditional stretch films.

Closing the Loop - OUR RECYCLING OPERATIONS

As the market leader in LDPE recycling, bpi uniquely offers key customers the opportunity to recover and recycle their plastic waste or to introduce closed loop recycling schemes. We recycle 70,000tes each year in our UK and European plants.
