Sacks and FFS Films

Throughout the UK and Europe, bags and sacks are a major part of our business, fulfilling a wide variety of applications from small bags right up to heavy duty sacks for chemicals, aggregates, compost and animal feed. As market needs have evolved, so we have invested in and developed continuous form fill seal solutions, such as Formitube® , a multi-layer co-extruded film.

Pallet Hoods & Covers

Having proven themselves time and time again in the transport of heavy commodities like bricks and stone tiles, our shrink hoods and pallet covers are a tried and tested means of ensuring product protection and load stability. Result ing from ongoing product development our new stretch hooding range offers improved efficiencies for volume users.

Film for Product Protection

The vast scope of our operations means that every day we develop films to protect virtually any product in any sector. We have long standing expertise in the field of printed and unprinted films from large consumer goods such as furniture, bedding and carpets to narrow printed film for uPVC profiles and Insulation products.

Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Packaging

By combining our considerable expertise of these particular markets with specialist production infrastructure, we are able to provide highly tailored polythene packaging solutions. Our range includes our highly specialised Gradis films and the new Pharmasac range for hygiene critical, internal transfer applications.

Technical Films for Printing, Conversion and Lamination

bpi.films (converter) is a speciality film producer – focusing on one process only - plain film extrusion. In developing films for other manufacturers, bpi.films (converter) offers a customer-specific, high-quality, highly consistent, tailored solution thereby providing the best overall value, whether the application is for Coating/Tapes, Coin Bag Film, Courier/Security Bag Film, Labels, Lamination, Mailing Film, Medical Films and Surface Protection.

Bulk Transit Products

Our disposable polythene liners protect bulk goods from contamination and importantly enable a quick clean-down once they have reached their destination. Within our range there is a film to suit most applications including anti-static and conductive liners which ensure the free flow of bulk powders upon discharge.

Transit Protection

Across the UK & Europe our unsurpassed range of high quality shrink films, machine stretch films, hand stretch films and top sheets provide excellent load stability and product protection during storage and transit. Our newly developed Wrap Smart provides an environmental and economic alternative to traditional stretch films.

Closing the Loop - OUR RECYCLING OPERATIONS

As the market leader in LDPE recycling, bpi uniquely offers key customers the opportunity to recover and recycle their plastic waste or to introduce closed loop recycling schemes. We recycle 70,000tes each year in our UK and European plants.
