It's a wrap – Woodford Wins!
bpi.agri, leading manufacturer of silage stretchfilm and clamp sheeting, has revealed the winner of its Grassland & Muck Prize Draw for a free pallet of Silotite balewrap. The lucky winner is agricultural contractor Pete Thomas of RP Woodford Contracting in Rugby, Warwickshire. Pete, who wraps as many as 5,000 silage bales per year for local farmers, was ecstatic with his prize which was delivered to him earlier this month.
RP Woodford Contracting undertake a variety of land and field-based projects across Warwickshire covering both shared farming projects and one-off jobs. Already his preferred brand, Peter normally buys his supplies of Silotite® from local agricultural merchants, H&C Pearce. A tried and trusted choice for farmers and contractors worldwide, Silotite® enjoys global recognition for its exceptional performance, impressive ease of use, high strength and reliability. bpi.agri attributes Silotite’s success to innovative features like its multi-layer construction, in-built UV defences and a unique two-sided tack which provides an excellent seal between film layers.
Speaking of his success, Pete said: “I was over the moon when I took the call telling me I was the winner of bpi.agri’s Grassland & Muck prize draw. Silotite is a great product and to receive a pallet of it free is absolutely fantastic.”
Louise Aplin, Marketing Manager, bpi.agri said: “We staged this competition as a way of giving something back to farmers and agricultural contractors. Congratulations to Pete and thank you to everyone else who entered.”
This year’s Grassland & Muck took place on the 17th & 18th May 2011 Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. It was attended by almost 15,000 visitors including farmers from the length and breadth of the UK, Ireland and overseas.
