As the long established leaders in the field of polyethylene recycling we now have the widest range of recycled products from any supplier. Our high quality products have a track record of proven performance and a number of them also carry independent product accreditation. We undertake an ongoing programme of new product development and innovation, capitalising on new waste streams as they become available. In recognition of our ability to expand the range of applications for recycled products we have won a number of prestigious industry awards. Refuse sacks: We are the UKs leading producer of recycled refuse sacks and our track record in quality, service and product innovation is unrivalled. We have developed the unique Tuklok ® and tuk’n’tie ® sack closure systems which are now well established features across a range of our sacks. Our Envirothene ™ dispenser boxed refuse sacks manufactured from minimum 97% recycled polythene are widely used in many industries helping to reduce sacks damaged from using traditional packaging methods. NEW: the Rip ‘n’ Tip recycling sack By developing a unique zip system we have produced an economical alternative to traditional 55Ltr recycling collection boxes. The rip’n’tip recycling sack manufactured from recycled polythene provides an economical solution for the kerbside segregation of plastic bottles and cans, minimising the sorting and de–bagging required at the recycling collection centres. A number of local authorities have already adopted the rip’n’tip system. Construction membranes: As a division of bpi.recycled products, Visqueen Building Products are the established UK market leaders for damp proof membranes and dpc’s. Our range of products has now been extended to include a range of gas protection membranes for use on Brownfield site developments. Plaswood – the environmentally responsible alternative: Plaswood is the Eco–Friendly alternative to wood, concrete or metal. Made exclusively from recycled polyethylene waste, Plaswood is a highly durable and maintenance free product particularly suited for landscaping in parks, gardens, town centres, schools, leisure and play areas and can be successfully combined with traditional materials. A range of furniture products in a variety of colours, perfect for schools or other public areas is also available. NEW: Visqueen EcoMembrane ® the first wholly sustainable DPM As part of our commitment to developing sustainable products we have introduced the first damp proof membrane produced exclusively from 100% post–use polyethylene waste. Visqueen EcoMembrane ® is guaranteed to contain NO virgin LDPE, NO factory reprocessed waste, and even the product colour is achieved using a sustainable source of post use polymer and achieves a performance level equivalent to our leading PIFA DPM range. Ground Stabilisation: Geoblock ground stabilisation system is a permeable interlocking block used in the development of grass and gravel areas. Made from 100% recycled polythene it is a durable and maintenance free option for use in emergency access lanes, car parks, road verge reinforcement and erosion protection. Pallets: Hypal plastic pallets are a durable, hygienic and environmentally responsible alternative–produced from 100% recycled HD Polythene, is reinforced to increase strength and has anti slip characteristics. |
